SYNOPSIS

DESCRIPTION
`tan' computes the tangent of the argument X. Angles are specified in
radians.
`tanf' is identical, save that it takes and returns `float' values.
RETURNS
The tangent of X is returned.
PORTABILITY
`tan' is ANSI. `tanf' is an extension.
