GLGETTEXFILTERFUNCSGIS(3GL)GLGETTEXFILTERFUNCSGIS(3GL)NAME
glGetTexFilterfuncSGIS - gets texture filter4 function.
C SPECIFICATION
void glGetTexFilterfuncSGIS( GLenum target,
GLenum filter,
const GLfloat * weights )
PARAMETERS
target The target texture. Must be GL_TEXTURE_1D or GL_TEXTURE_2D.
filter The filter mode. Must be GL_FILTER4_SGIS.
weights Pointer to array of filter weights
DESCRIPTION
The filter weights for the filter4 filter associated with a texture are
queried by calling glGetTexFilterFuncSGIS with <target> set to the tex‐
ture target and <filter> set to GL_FILTER4_SGIS. The Size weight val‐
ues are returned in the array <weights>, which must have at least Size
elements. The value Size is an implementation dependent constant that
is queried by the application by calling glGetTexParameteriv or glGet‐
TexParameterfv.
This api is part of the SGIS_texture_filter4 extension. This extension
allows 1D and 2D textures to be filtered using an application-defined,
four sample per dimension filter. (In addition to the NEAREST and LIN‐
EAR filters defined in the original GL Specification.) Such filtering
results in higher image quality. For more information, please see the
man page for glTexFilterFuncSGIS.
The contents of the Filter4 function table is specified using glTexFil‐
terfuncSGIS. <target> must be either GL_TEXTURE_1D or GL_TEXTURE_2D.
NOTES
glGetTexFilterFuncSGIS is not included in display lists
ERRORS
GL_INVALID_ENUM is generated if glGetTexFilterFuncSGIS parameter <tar‐
get> is not GL_TEXTURE_1D or GL_TEXTURE_2D.
GL_INVALID_ENUM is generated if glGetTexFilterFuncSGIS parameter <fil‐
ter> is not GL_FILTER4_SGIS.
GL_INVALID_OPERATION is generated if glGetTexFilterFuncSGIS is executed
between execution of glBegin and the corresponding execution of glEnd.
